Hacienda las Vainillas is 3 km NE of the small rural village of Mastatal.

From San Jose take Hyway 27 and exit to Ciudad Colon get through Ciudad Colon and go to the small city of Puriscal with road #239 (excellent roads) in Puriscal take the same #239 road towards Parrita.

After the first 15 km the road is unsurfaced. Continue for another 16 km to the cross with road #318. Here, turn left to the village of Mastatal that will be reached after 7 km.

Entering Mastatal, at the first and main intersection, turn left and you’ll reach the Hacienda las Vainillas hotel after 3,1 km (entry on your right coming from Mastatal).

From San Jose it will take a little less than 3 hours of driving to reach us.

Nota : A 4 wheels drive is more than highly recomended (especially in rainy season)
