We had an absolutely wonderful stay!
Philippe and Frederique were so welcoming, making it feel homely. They had exceptional hospitality and we saw the dedication to their property and to quality service. They love what they do. The food was outstanding, and we appreciated that the delicious vanilla used in some of the desserts came from their own vanilla plants . The birdwatching was excellent- we saw toucans, common pauraques, green honeycreeper, bats, frogs, toads and more.
The hike to the waterfall was restorative.

This boutique hotel is a haven of peace and quiet set in the countryside. The large property offers lovely hikes and is surrounded by nature and stunning views. A great welcome and delicious food too! A relief after the busy coastal resorts.

Perfect retreat away from the tourist crowds.
We had the most wonderful 2 days to start our Costa Rican vacation…. The hosts Frederique and Phillips were charming and so hospitable. This is pampered luxury and they did everything to make our stay so memorable. We did an early morning guided bird watch with Jenny - stunning and not to be missed. Philippe gave us a personalized tour of this vanilla farm explains the brilliant way they have introduced this industry to the local community.
I cannot enthuse more - simply go and stay yourselves.
